Last week I visited Antwerp for a shopping spree with a friend and no shopping trip is complete with regular breaks for breakfast, coffee, lunch or a cava, right? Our first stop was Murni.
Murni is located in an area surrounded by cute boutiques and many hip restaurants. It's outside the busy city centre and definitely worth a visit if you're looking for unique shops and a cosy atmosphere. A friend of mine gave Murni as a tip and since she's the ultimate Antwerp local, I trusted her. I'm so happy I did! (Thanks Yentl 💋)
Murni has a personal vibe to it. With its rough brick walls, the pillows, the plants and the carefully placed original interior finds, you know you've entered the right place. It's a small venue, but with a large table in the middle, it's still possible to come with a big group of friends. Apart from this, there are quite a few smaller tables for just two persons.
On the menu you'll find a lot of healthy and delicious options, like biological drinks, fresh juices, sandwiches and salads. There's also a salad bar, where you can create your own delicious salad! We both went for a freshly pressed grapefruit juice, I had a sandwich and my friend Anouk had a very Instagram-worthy salad bowl.
Two words: SUPER. DELICIOUS!
After this, we decided to start our shopping day with a nice cava. When they forgot to serve it and we asked again, it was on the house, which made it taste even better (Serving two Dutchies free alcohol is always a good idea 😜).
The easy-going vibe, the super friendly staff and the healthy & delicious food; Murni is a must when you're in Antwerp!
