Aye aye Sailor

06-03-2018, by Mieke

Last week it was freezing cold in Brussels, so Spring seemed far, far away. However, now that march arrived, temperatures are slowly rising, so it’s time to start showing some skin (ok, let’s start with just the ankles, shall we 😇)…

I decided to rock this sailor look. When you’ve been following me around, you know my devoted love for stripes and I caved, yet again. This striped sweater from H&M has the softest cotton towel fabric, so it will be perfect for those cold breezes on summer evenings. For now, I paired it with my red coat, ripped jeans and my Saucony sneakers.

To complete the sailor look, I finished off with this cute hat from Scotch & Soda (also perfect for a bad hair day 🙌🏻), some super cute golden sparkle from I.Ma.Gin and this lovely Détail bag.

I promised in one of my last posts I’d get back to the bag, so here we are..

Détail is a Belgian jewelry and accessories brand, founded by a Belgian couple who started this label after their travels to India. Every bag is handmade and not one bag is exactly the same. The inside of my bag has a floral pattern, but the lining of another bag can be completely different, how fun is that! Détail totally spoiled me, because I got to choose my favorite piece from their Winter collection. I went for this burgundy red clutch and I’ve been able to pair it with many of my outfits. Nothing but love for this Belgian brand ♥️

What do you think of this look, transitioning into Spring? I’d love to hear your thoughts, so feel free to leave a comment. If you want to shop these, or comparable items, make sure to head to the shop!

See you in my next blog post and keep an eye on my Insta Stories to see some Wintersports action with friends 🎿

Lots of love,
