Last weekend I visited Londen and boy oh boy, do I love that city! Apart from the traditional English architecture, the raw street art, the friendly people and the original coffee shops (a blog about that will follow soon), one can’t leave London without having done a little shopping.
If I said I was in serious need of some new sneakers, it would be a complete lie. I have to admit that my sneaker collection is getting slightly out of hand lately and the fact that I ‘HAD TO’ buy these camouflaged sweethearts might suggest that I’ve developed somewhat of an addiction…
Well, there are worse things to be addicted to 😉
Superga
With their signature rubber soles, Superga has been the go-to sneaker in Italy for over a 100 years. It was only about ten years ago when I first saw the original Superga sneaker popping up in Dutch seaside resorts during summer time, casually worn with shorts or a summer dress. They are plain and simple, but Superga always oozes style, comfort and confidence.
In Londen, you’ll find Superga heaven at Spitalfields market in Shoreditch. It’s a small store, packed with all the Superga models and more. You’ll find colors and patterns you’ve never seen before, just like the ones I chose ðŸ˜
The white platform soles are very much on trend right now and I fell in love with the camouflage print on these sneakers. I started wearing my Superga’s right away, with my grey jeans and bright green knitted sweater, they were super comfortable and I definitely tested them throughout the entire city of London.
However, I can’t wait for Springtime and pair these babies with some white pants, a leather jacket and an afternoon Aperol Spritz ðŸ¸
How about you? Are you in love with Superga, like I am?
