Last week I went to have lunch with a dear friend and she suggested Kafei. I had never been there and needed to look up the address when I realized I pass this place literally every work day! OOPS! From the outside, you wouldn’t expect this place to be so hip and happening, but as soon as you get in, you’ll know: ‘I’ve come to the right place’ 😇
You enter this cosy place, get a warm welcome by one of the baristas and you’ll feel right at home. The interior is best described as Scandinavian minimalism with a raw, industrial vibe and on the marble counter top there are many cookies, cakes and muffins, just waiting for you to skip lunch and head straight to dessert 😋
On the menu, there’s lots of healthy bowls to choose from and we both went for the classic Aloha Poki Bowl. Since this place is an Asian coffeeshop, you can order a nice cappuccino to go with that bowl and you won’t be disappointed; that coffee is gooooooooood!
Are you looking for a super tasty and fulfilling Asian lunch spot with a personal vibe and great coffee? Don’t hesitate to go to Kafei! I will definitely be back, if only to try those mouthwatering sweets and enjoy the sun at their lovely terrace.
